Ticket Draws

2012  6 NATIONS INTERNATIONAL TICKET DRAW

This draw will be held at 8pm.on Friday 18th November 2011 starting with Registration at 7-30pm.

Rules of the International Ticket Draws

1) Only fully paid-up members of Windsor RFC can enter the Draw.  (Refer to Membership here).

2) Vice Presidents are expected to make a donation to the Club equivalent to the Social Membership fee (£70) in order to enter the draw.

3) Sponsors have the same draw rights as fully paid-up members.

4) Only a fully paid-up member can hold a proxy.
 
5) A full member can only hold a proxy/on behalf of ONE other full member.

6) The full member/proxy holder must attend the draw.

7) Proxies to be lodged with the Hon. Secretary, Graham Birch, before the draw date to qualify.

8) VPs and members should have paid their membership for the 2011/12 season prior to the draw to participate.  This will be Checked by the Membership Secretary, John Saunders, before Registration.  It is not possible to become a new member on the night of the draw.

9) The Chairman will not hold any proxies on behalf of members.

10) A full member, whose name is selected in the draw, will have the opportunity to pick ONE or TWO tickets depending on the colour of card entered.  If ONE BLUE card is entered, once drawn, 2 International tickets can be selected.  If TWO RED cards are entered, when either card is drawn, 1 International Ticket can be selected.

11) Tickets must be paid for in full plus £5 admin fee on the night.  Tickets can be paid for by
A. Cash
B. Personal Cheque.  (Company cheques only at discretion of Francis Boundy, Hon. Treasurer, and must be signed on reverse.)
C. Credit Card.  Subject to an additional 2% fee.  Please take card to Bar, write name on back of credit card payment slip and bring back the slip for the Registrar.  This will be kept by the Club for reconcilement.
 
Failure to pay will result in that draw being void.

12) Should there be any spare International tickets after all cards are drawn, members will be invited to re-enter the draw.

The actual tickets will be available shortly before the first match.
(Note: This is often only 2 or 3 weeks before the first game, when they are sent to the Club by the RFU!).  If winners have any seating preferences, please inform the Ticket Registrar on payment.

Finally, tickets will be available by:-
1. Pick up from Club.   Tickets will be available by pick-up at the Club by arrangement with the Chairman, Syd Allen, through e-mail contact.  Please provide your e-mail address on the Draw Results Form.
2. Pick up from Chairman.  Tickets will be available by pick-up at his home (near Squires Garden Centre) or at a place of mutual convenience by arrangement through e-mail contact.  Please provide your e-mail address on the Draw Results Form.

As mistakes can happen, all tickets received personally must be checked and signed for.
 
3. By Post.  Due to past postal problems, we will only post tickets in an envelope addressed/stamped by you - please provide to the Registrar - or on receiving clear instructions by e-mail.  The Club will obtain a Certificate of Posting.  If the tickets go astray, the Hon. Secretary, Graham Birch, will provide details of how to obtain replacements; this is subject to a fee payable by you to the RFU and you must personally arrange delivery/collection with the RFU.

 

All ticket holders are subject to the RFU ticket distribution conditions, which can be viewed at  http://www.rfu.com/Tickets/TermsAndConditions/TicketDistributionConditions .  Non-conformity with these conditions will render the registered holder subject to the Club’s Disciplinary Procedures.
