Parking at WRFC

Important parking notice for visitors and club members

Anyone parking on yellow lines or verges along Datchet Rd is liable to be issued with a fixed penalty notice as will those who do not park properly within a marked bay as areas are being patrolled.

Home Park Sports Club Sticker allows free parking in Home Park Public but not Romney Lock. So ensure you only park beyond the clubhouses.

On Sundays from Sept to April this sticker will also allow free parking in King Edward VII car park, but only between the hours of 9am and 2pm

Visitors can park for FREE if they drive past the clubhouse, where free bays are clearly marked....otherwise when these are full you will need to use the pay and display parking adjacent to the club, with the exception of Tournament where we open us the Home Park fields for free parking.

FOR CLARITY, here is a letter from our contact at the Council:

Dear All,
As all the new agreed signage is in place I met our Parking Enforcement Officers on site today to explain our enforcement policy so all understand it & enforcement can start forthwith..

1. Yellow Lines  -  will be enforced at ALL times. Anyone parking on yellow lines or on areas behind of (like area in front of the horse show shed & gated entrances) will
be issued with parking tickets & NO exceptions whatsoever will be made.

Those parked between the clubhouses must keep one metre clear behind the yellow lines (footpath) & behind the cricket club behind the yellow lines will not be
ticketed as long as displaying Home Park parking permit during the week & parked properly.

2. At weekends as long as everyone parks sensibly we will not be issuing parking tickets for non display of the Home Park Users Permit, unless they infringe 1 above or 4
    below.

3. Monday to Friday during the day any car parked on site with a Home Park Users Permit, where the driver is not present on site (i.e. Not within the clubhouse, nor visible
on site or taking part in a sport) will be issued with parking ticket.

4. King Edward VII Ave  -  any cars parking on the verge or within the gated entrances will be issued with a parking ticket.

5. Home Park Users Permit does NOT cover any parking whatsoever in Romney Lock car park, but does cover Sunday am parking (9am to 1pm) in King Edward VII car
park from October to March only.

I hope this is very clear to all & look forward to accesses being kept clear at all times & minimal of parking tickets being issued.
